Clubs & Organizations : CHS PTSA Board Needs a Treasurer!

Posted by Menzies on 5/15/13 (30 reads)

"The Cary High School" has been an integral part of the history of Cary. Many generations have attended school here. The Cary High PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association) is a volunteer based organization that works hard to carry on the tradition and growth of "The Cary High".

The PTSA encourages academic success of students through classroom scholarships for teachers, academic awards, college scholarships, timely and important information for parents, along with hospitality functions for staff and the current Senior class. The PTSA works closely with Cary High Administration to benefit students, teachers, and parents in their academic and personal success.

The 2013 - 2014 PTSA Board has a need for a new Treasurer. The current Treasurer will be happy to train you for the job and provide support as needed! The Treasurer will oversee the finances of the PTSA. This role is critical in managing the funds on behalf of the membership and Board of Directors. Prior accounting experience or Treasurer experience is not needed!

If you are interested in the role of Treasurer, please contact Sonya Reid at syreid28@gmail.com or 919-880-7216. Feel free to contact Sonya for more information. Just contacting her is not a commitment to the job! If you know of an incoming freshman's parent that would be interested in this job, please pass the information on to them. We welcome all parents and guardians!
